Amy Grover

President & CEO

Amy has over 15 years in the construction industry as CFO and COO. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and received her Master’s from University of Phoenix. She is married (Bill Grover) and has two children- Joseph and Megan. Amy, Megan, and Bill are relocating from Annapolis, MD.

Stephen Hathaway 

Founder & Master Electrician

Mr. Hathaway, an Ohio Native, started Hathaway Electric in 1987 after serving in the United States Marine Corps and completing his Master Electrician’s certification. In 1998 he began a new division, Hathaway Generators. 

Joseph Grover

Generator Technician

Joseph is a Lance Corporal in the USMC He is currently working as an 1142 Engineering Equipment Electrical Systems Technician (generator/electrical technician) stationed at Camp Lejuene in Jacksonville, NC. He graduated USMC boot camp in March 2018. He also attended Marine Combat training graduating in June 2018. He then attended training to become an generator/electrical technician- where he graduated 2nd in his class (98% average). Joseph is married and has two daughters. After his active duty, he plans to settle in Williamsburg and be a full-time employee.

Megan Grover

Social Media Coordinator

Megan Grover is the Social Media Coordinator for Hathaway Power as well as a Physical Therapy Aide for a large Physical Therapy company. She also is a former Petty Officer 1st Class of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps and the Training Department Petty Officer for the Annapolis Division. Megan is going to school to become a Physical Therapist. She wants to help people to get back to what moves them. She wants to work with our wounded Heroes and wants to be specialized in Neurology, Sports Medicine, and Diabetes. She is certified in Construction and in Mental Health. Megan is an avid sports fan, including playing softball and bowls.

Nancy Whorley

Office Manager

Nancy has been with Hathaway Power since 1999. A native Virginian, Nancy assisted in ushering a new division of the company dealing with home standby generators after solidifying Hathaway Electric as a community name. Nancy has earned a Paralegal Degree from Thomas Nelson Community College and uses her knowledge of accounting to oversee the financial operations of the business and prepare payroll. She is an integral part of the company organizing office operations and procedures correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, assigning and monitoring clerical functions.   

Melynda Dorough

Client Manager

Melynda is from Maryland, and started with Hathaway in 2013. Using her certification in Business Principles by Thomas Nelson Community College and extensive background in customer service she manages customer’s service contracts to include scheduling of technicians, prepares reports and warranty claims. She assists in the procurement of new customers and acts as a liaison between new customers and various state and county departments.

Angelina Hathaway

Administrative Assistant 

Angelina was born in Zaporizhia, Ukraine. Angelina became part of the Hathaway Power family in 2017. Her attentiveness and uncanny ability to connect with people has been an asset to the company. While organizing files, answering phones, and preparing new sale client files, she strives to learn more about the company.

Steve “Stefano” Barrett

Generator Technician

Former Sargent in The United States Air Force, Steve worked as an Aircraft Electrician. Originally from New York, Steve uses his expertise gained during his career in the Air Force to apply working knowledge of electrical systems and circuitry to standard and diesel generator engines since 2012. With certifications in KOHLER, Briggs and Stratton and Generac, he repairs, maintains and determines corrective action through inspection of our customer’s generator sets. Steve was also a Master ASE and Honda Master.

Keith Paquette

Lead Generator Technician & Installer

Keith began with Hathaway Power in 2013.  Born in Hawaii, Keith has been an automobile mechanic for over 30 years. Using his wide-ranging knowledge of engines, Keith performs a variety of skilled and technical tasks in the installation, inspection, repair, and preventative maintenances of standby and portable generators. Keith is certified in KOHLER, Briggs and Stratton, and Generac. He stays abreast to changing industry standards by taking online courses and maintaining knowledge gained in the field.
